Fictional Frictions
Exhibition poster, brochure design for Fictional Frictions, the Pavilion Project organised by HIAP(Helsinki International Artist Programme), 2018 Gwangju Biennale in Gwangju, Korea.

Fictional Frictions is the Gwangju Biennale’s first pavilion project by HIAP(HelsinkiInternational Artist Programme). Titles are repeated but randomly fainted away totheir theme, ‘imagined borders’. Serial posters featured parts of Nestori Syrjälä’s works, texts are vanishing from the top. In the catalogue, instead of using a black, to show a faint image, metallic dark grey colour is used on uncoated papers. It was intended, to show faint colour, I used an uncoated paper which is absorbing glitters. (Read more)
